| The Brown Note Theory are a 3 piece band from deep far north Queensland Australia. They combine elements of blues, roots, rock and electronica into an intoxicating sonic gumbo of sound. Of course, the seedier elements of the sound engineering fraternity will have you believe that the brown note theory, or "disco dump" is a phenomenom whereupon if you play certain notes at sufficiently extreme volume, the noise will cause the listener to lose bowel control. The popular TV show "Mythbusters" have tried twice unsuccsesfully to prove this theory. We don't think they tried hard enough. |
